Just to make sure nothing happens, I'm going to write some rules.
Come here"]http://seaofstories.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rating&action=display&thread=28] here to get a guide on good ratings. You get extra cool points if you use this.
RULES:
1. Don't post stories that are extremely long.
I will put a maximum of 3,000 words in each post. If your story is longer than this, just have two posts, or as many as you want to finish off your story.
2. No harsh criticizing.
Only suggestions and true opinions of the stories. No insults.
3. Every person rating a story needs to put a rating out of 10.
This is really helpful to the author of the story. If you just tell them what's wrong with it, they won't really know how bad/good it is in your opinion.
4. Give both what you like and what could be fixed. If you don't like it at all, don't say that. And there usually IS something good about every story. The thought, the spelling, the amount of details, grammar.
5. Be thorough in your rating. Let them know what you think at let them know what you would change. If you just have one or two sentences in a post, you probably don't have enough details.
6. Post only one a day. Or once every 15 hours. This will probably only take place if we ever have enough threads that people need to bump their posts. If this rule is not followed, the thread will most likely be deleted, or locked.
7.
(a)The title of the thread must be the title of the story or something related to it. If this rule is not followed, the thread will most likely be deleted, or locked.
(b) Do not advertise your post. Do not put anything that looks like you are trying to get more people to come. Things like, "If you rate mine, I rate yours!" or anything like, "COME HERE TO MY AWESOME STORY!" Oh, and that brings me to,
8. Do not use all caps on title, or in first post. It is distracting and really annoying. Besides, you shouldn't be doing this any ways, it's in the rules now.
